Of course not. These people don't plan ahead like that. They expected the whole country to collapse as soon as the first bombs fell. Since that didn't happen (shocker) they are now winging it.
And it looks like we are running out of counter missiles.
Did you know that an entire year's production of counter missiles for a patriot system is only 600?
How many drone swarm attacks will that handle?

It will take the Arlington nearly 3 weeks to arrive at the current trouble spot.

There are plenty of people who plan ahead in the US military and intelligence services, not to mention our allied counterparts.
