Then he moves to another country and you still lose. Hell, given enough incentive, the rich could buy their own country and tell you to fuck off entirely. What "estate tax?" He puts his wealth in a trust and it gets passed on like it would in a corporation, no taxes involved.

No matter how clever you think you, or the government, thinks you are, those with motivation to protect their wealth will protect their wealth.

Where have you been, there is a reason individuals move to Florida and corporations flee to Delaware, it is nothing new, but those are State tax, not Federal, and corporations, just like individuals, don’t pay the rate they are assigned, Trump is proof of that facf. Also guarantee Bezos won’t die in Florida, it’s death and estate tax make up for some of the income lost

So what? If federal taxes on individuals or corporations become onerous, expect them to move to another country as is happening RIGHT NOW in Europe. They leave. In a world where people and corporations have choices, they'll choose what's best for them, not government.

You simply don't get it. Socialism does not work. Not then, not now. A nation cannot tax its way to prosperity.
