When my oath was given, gays were discharged for practicing homosexuality.

It was against the law for civilians, too.

Perhaps the S.C. will rule that the right for gays to marry is not an enumerated right in the Constitution (just like the right to abortion is not an enumerated right in the Constitution).

Constitutions don't give rights. That is not their purpose. Rights do not come from a piece of paper.
The S.C. did not rule that the 'right to abortion is not an enumerated right in the Constitution'. They ruled (correctly) that the federal government had no authority to pass laws about abortion, either banning it or condoning it. That authority rests, if anywhere, with the States.

Abortion is not a right. Murdering your own offspring for the sake of convenience is not a right.

Worse, it destroys military discipline. Leaders condoning this are not supported by those going into battle. This is how you lose wars.

Oh gee a decorated Navy Seal transitions to a shemale then says it was a BIG MISTAKE and transitions back to a male. And he says transitioning minors is very bad thing.
I think we SHOULD talk about that because cutting off a minor's penis or breasts is WRONG. What is your opinion?
 
Well, it was likely a 50-50 choice...

50% chance this person would commit suicide, 50% they'd regret their decision to undergo genital mutilation and cosmetic surgery... Yea, there are a lot of really fucked up people on the planet today...

I really don't know enough about all this to have an educated opinion. But, I do not believe in Sex-change surgeries.

I was brought up to be appreciative to what you were born with in terms of being rich or poor, looks, size, or color. In terms of sexual identity, I suppose that never was an issue in my immediate family. We all knew what we were and no one had a problem with it.

You were brought up this way too, I'm sure.

Where we differ, is your thinking that this is some kind of national disaster or something that is threatening our everyday lives, or that this is some kind of mission our government or school systems are on to turn the world into TRANNIES!

Personally, I think there are more serious matters at hand than our genitals! PUN INTENDED! And I believe some people are blowing all this out of proportion for political posturing!
