Yep, I really don't know what he altered in the document, and how that impacted the content of the whole of whatever declaration
in support of a warrant was submitted. But obviously some judicial officer sees it as aberrant, and that he showed remorse and it would have granted the
request but for the alteration anyway. So, the woot woot conventioneers got to make undue hay over something miniscule, much as we
may be disappointed at some Trump Capitol invader who may get a mere trespass instead of having the book thrown at them if they
simply showed up, got swept up in the moment and walked around taking selfies and left the capitol that day without either destroying anything
