Jury Finds Roderick Scott Not Guilty

Not guilty: The verdict in the manslaughter trial of Roderick Scott. After more than 19 hours of deliberations over two days, a jury acquitted the Greece man in the shooting death of Christopher Cervini, 17, last April.

where's the racist outrage now folks?
 
The New BAC Panther Party will be hear led by BAC and Desh to denounce a dead kid at the hands of a black man. And BAC has the balls to say that a black man can't get any justice.

BAC has the nerve to say a black man can't get a fair hearing.

I don't know the details of this case so it is difficult to comment, but a couple of things are clear

a) the media doesnt' care about a dead white kid at the hands of a black man, according to BAC and Desh, this verdict means it is open season on white kids doing nothing
b) BAC is a fucking loser hypocrite (which I already knew) but now is being exposed even more
c) Desh will avoid this thread like someone is trying to bathe her with soap

besides the colors of the individuals being reversed, the biggest difference is that the young kid never even got a chance to hit the shooter. he was shot charging at the shooter.

That's not the biggest difference. The big difference is that Cervini WAS engaged in criminal activity and so Scott had a right to stop him. Another huge difference is that it did not take public outcry to have Scott arrested and tried.
 
so assaulting someone is not criminal activity? didn't know that. and if the outrage was just over zimmerman not being arrested right away, they should have been appeased once he was, right?
 
The media jacks up stories like the GZ story to the hilt, so that they transcend every day life & everyone feels like they're part of them. They can't do it w/ a story like this.

The fact is, there are controversial verdicts, tragedies & questionable judicial practices on a regular basis; who knows how often.

I think the justice system still does have an inherent racial bias; but it also has a stupidity bias.

You knew, the "assault" happened after Zimmerman began pursuing Martin, possibly after he tried to apprehend Martin or pulled his gun. You are not nearly as stupid as you pretend to be.

Everybody has it. The 911 tape. Zimmerman had no probable cause to arrest Martin. His suspicions were baseless. This guy Scott did have probable cause to arrest Cervini. He may still have been guilty of manslaughter, but there are big differences here other than what is obvious to racists.

Arrest = stop. Trayvon's striking of Zimmerman happened in response to the harassment and possible attempt to arrest not the other way around. In the op case there was illegal act that gave Scott the right to stop Cervini.
 
Zimmerman describes the events of the altercation in detail, saying that Martin asked him, "You got a problem, homie?" before saying "You do now" and punching him in the face.

Jurors head the recording and saw the statement on a projector as an investigator who interviewed Zimmerman the night of Feb. 26, 2012, took the stand. Sanford Police Detective Doris Singleton said she read Zimmerman his rights before he voluntarily gave the statement. The 29-year-old seemed sober, spoke clearly, and was using tissues to dab blood from the back of his head, Singleton said.

Why isn't Team Zimmerman wailing about the miscarriage of justice and expressing their dismay that Scott was charged and brought to trial? Is it Cuomo's fault? How many of you sent money to his defense fund?

and his testimony does not fit all the facts in the case
