You want to know how shocked and paranoid these Democrats are? They are so devastated by their recent election defeat, They have thought up every excuse imaginable from the FBI to the electoral college, to fake news as the reasons they lost and most of them still claim that the country is still behind them! But we haven't seen anything yet my fiends, wait until Trump takes office. This is where this group of social planning leftists will really shine through with their anti democratic process, anti american diatribe against everything Trump attempts.

But I also feel the people we must also keep an eye on are the never Trump republicans. You're going to hate me for saying this, but right now I trust the Chuck Shumer Democrats sooner than the RINOS as far as cooperating to at least a certain extent.

Watch the RINOS during this undermining. They never really had a problem with a Hillary presidency in the first place. Hillary was in their club.

Who are the #nevertrump republicans that have the power to stop him from doing what he wants?

How can the Bush family stop Trump since they are out of power?

Every President has to deal with Congress.

you know when you troll someone, and you tell them not to get mad, and then they get even madder? And you are just sitting there calmly telling them to just be calm and not get mad, (knowing that such a statement will just piss them off more) and it sends them into a frenzy? But then you get to sit there looking all calm cool and collected while the other party loses their shit? That is what trump is doing to liberals and especially people like warren. He's going to make pocahauntus look like a moonbat. She tries to play his game but fails spectacularly.

nevertrumpers will def try to dick trump, but he can dick them back with supreme court nominations. If they dont' play nice they wont get to confirm good nominees. Maybe he'll just leave the seats vacant. He does have some leverage.

Man, do you ever have that one backwards. Tweety is the one who has gone into a frenzy about her, and many others; not the other way around.

Oh, I know: you think Trump is a genius and is playing everyone for the fool w/ every rant & tweet. But sadly, you are wrong. He's a thin-skinned child, and can't handle even the smallest critique.

thing1 sorry but I know more about politics and political strategy than you. If you just said to yourself "I am going to trust grind for 6 months as a test" you'd be 10 times more informed and knowledgable than you are now. Take the grind challenge bro.

Speaking of trolling.

Trump's your hero now. We get it. You got sucked in, like a Moonie or Hare Krishna...

You seem to believe the rules change just because a republican is in the White House. :0) That's ignorant.

While Obama was president, republicans openly did everything they could to bring down his presidency. Nothing was off the table.

Now you're all shocked and surprised that democrats are going to do everything they can to bring down Trump's presidency .. exactly as they should be doing.

And you're right .. there will be republicans trying to do the same thing. That's why happens to nasty and unlikable people.

Democrats don't have to lift a finger to help or support Trump, nor should they.

Dude, this is just getting started. :0)

thereare things I like about him on a personal level. I liked obama on a personal level to. If you just wanted to have an honest conversation with me I'd be happy to tell you all the things I wont agree with him or support him on. The problem is I have to spend all my time addressing retarded arguments here.

I'll tell you a story about something that happened in my life.

In the year... 2005 I think.. I saw the movie "War of the Worlds" starring tom cruise. I saw it with a bunch of my friends that have really shitty taste in movies.. hence why we went to that movie. I'm talking.. they would call me up to see harold and kumar, wedding crashes, dumb fucking comedies, lame action flicks, etc. My friends always picked shit movies but I sometimes went along because it's good to be social now and then. And predictably after every movie some people would think the movie was "meh" and I would be like "well what did you expect? Of course this movie was going to be low brow and retarded"... after a while I would skip a bunch of these outings because I have a much more refined taste in cinema.

Anyway I went to this movie. It was predictably bad/dumb/retarded/not interesting/boring/stupid/meh. Par for the course for my moron friends. However when we left the movie, they were SHITTING ALL OVER IT to an absurd degree. Completely trashing it. Now the thing is... they weren't wrong... but I was like "um... are you guys not paying attention to the category of movies you go to?"

So after a while of everyone shitting on this movie and calling it the worst movie they ever seen... I started defending it. Not defending it as a good movie mind you, but just not as the worst movie we had ever seen. "No... that part wasn't THAT bad you guys...", "this scene was ok...", "It was an ok cinema experience, it wasn't terrible... I was at least moderately engaged throughout the movie"

And you see, an interesting thing happened. I was spending my time defending a moronic movie to my retard friends who didn't have a clue. After a while, it clearly looked like I LIKED this movie, I spent all my time defending it, saying it wasn't that bad. We've seen way worse... this movie was about average according to my friends shit line up.

Made no difference though.

So then a year later people bring it up again and people were like "oh ... you liked that movie right?"

The moral of the story is, Trump is war of the worlds. He will be an average president, not a disaster. But I have to argue with idiots on JPP all day that because I don't think he is literally hitler that I must agree with him. Or love him. Or have him be my favorite president.

I am a very principled person and I take my beliefs seriously. I do not compromise them. The things I like about trump are his gravitas, his war against P.C. culture, some of his anti-globalist stances, the fact that he defeated hillary clinton, the fact that he is a proven winner and has massive swagger and can face the slings and arrows from massive opposition and come out the victor, I love that he is showing how to normalize a new reality and people can't just say "this is unacceptable, it's 2016, this is not who we are" only to be proven dead wrong. I like the fact that on paper, he seems to be anti-war (or at least less war-monger-y than the neo-con hillary clinton). Lastly, I support conservative justices on the court (usually). And that's a big big big win for me.

But in short, Trump passes the personality test for me. He passes the "would you have the beer with him test"

And yes, I think trump has the capacity to be an ok president in terms of performance. I can very easily see him making awesome deals and just winning and driving liberals crazy. But time will tell.

I do not support his stance on privacy rights, against possibly fucking with net neutrality, I am not a protectionist when it comes to free trade, I don't know what he'll do on the drug war but you know where I stand on that. If he starts an unprovoked war, I will not support that either.

So if you want to talk about issues, I am there for you. But if you just go "hurrrrrr durrrrrrrrr he said something offenthive on twitter oh my gaul it's 2016" then yeah I'm gonna tell you to get fucked

Not to be picky or anything, but hillary did win(the most votes) her defeat was in the undemocratic electoral college........

I appreciate the analogy, and understand what you're trying to say. A couple of things:

1) War of the Worlds wasn't really that bad - it had some moments, imo. For a basic, sci-fi popcorn flick.
2) Wedding Crashers was brilliant
3) Trump IS that bad. No one is exaggerating. He's really a bad guy. At best, he's a narcissist & con man. The whole "don't take him literally" thing is just another way of saying that he never really tells the truth. There were over 3,500 lawsuits against him from contractors & small businesses who he basically ruined by stiffing them in billing. He's insanely thin-skinned and genuinely behaves like a child. We found out just today that he rejected John Bolton because he has a moustache.

I mean, I could keep going for hours. There is very little that is redeemable about this man. That he is President is one of the big cons in U.S. history. I see America as split according to who can easily see through Trump and his obvious act, and who inexplicably cannot.

There is no doubt: this is the nadir. No one is going over-the-top on this. There is no hysteria too extreme, no whining too whiny. Trump is a terrible, woeful & dangerous choice for President.

Best post of 2016

What is really fascinating to me is how the lefties expect us to have this ideological purity when it comes to Trump yet they don't expect it of themselves

I have said repeatedly I voted for Trump because of the Supreme Court. If he fucks me on it, he fucks me on it. It wouldn't be the first time a Republican President didn't do what he said he would do.

But, the left on here voted for Hillary even though they didn't really support her and that was ok? She voted for Iraq war and they all overlook it. She is a globalist shill for the bankers and Wall St and they overlook.

Look no further than our resident race hustler BAC to find this hypocrisy. Or remember when Rana famously said "I wasn't gonna support Hillary but Trump said she played the woman card so now I am all in for Hillary"? Talk about lame bullshit

The bottoms line is that this isn't just any Election loss for the leftists. This is visceral. It runs deeps for many reasons.

1) they can't believe they lost to Trump when he was the guy they all said they wanted Hillary to run against
2) they have never been more wrong about an election
3) for the last eight years they have been singing from the same song book that "demographics is destiny" and that they had cobbled together some permanent voting majority
4) they know deep down that the democrat party under Obama has been eviscerated at all levels of government. They have never been weaker as a party

Now this doesn't mean their opposition should never be taken seriously, but they run the risk of being ignored by the American people.

Trump is an expert at stage craft and he will run circles around the left. The whole thing he did with Carrier is a bunch of hooey, but it gives the impression that he is trying to save American jobs. Leftists will not be able to compete with that

Thingy predicts a Republican wipeout in the House in 2018 based on nothing but his hopes and dreams and no facts. I am not ready to predict 2018 yet, but I can say Thingy is setting himself up for more embarrassment

I really wish you and Damo could import a better class of liberal with more intelligence than what we have here. This current crop is just not challenging and I fear my prodigious skills will slip if not properly honed.

If you believe that Hillary and Obama aren't thin skinned narcissists then you just aren't paying attention.

Your entire post shows that you really didn't get what Grind was trying to say.

You are so consumed with embarrassment about being wrong about the election that you will believe the worst about Trump no matter what. Even lame stories about Bolton and his mustache.

That's a Trump prediction lol. But a safe one.

I try to avoid making them because I've never seen more people look more wrong than when it comes to Trump. But I'll be a sport and give my prediction---which is actually sort of a non-prediction.

He can be one of three things at the end of four years. He could be miserable. He could wind up average or he could be the most effective president of the last hundred years.

One of the reasons I voted for him was because Trump has a shot at being the latter. There's potential for an upside with Trump that was totally non-existent with Hillary: it made November 8th a no-brainer for me. With Hillary, the best hope was average with miserable being the greater likelihood.

Trump has tools, the instincts and the skill set. He's a natural politician trapped in non-politicians body, as it were.

The only rock-solid prediction I'll make is that the next four years will be interesting---and probably entertaining to watch from a political perspective.

How can the Bush family stop Trump since they are out of power?

Every President has to deal with Congress.

Well it's too late to stop Trump, he's the new president but the Bushes still hold considerable power within the party as part of it's inner circle. They have influential allies.

The RNC did spend over a hundred million dollars trying to get Jeb the nomination.
