Yup. That was Comey's stand-in answering (or not) Madcow's questions. And, that wasn't Madcow saying, "OK let me ask some MORE questions that you can't answer." LOL

I sometimes read the Wall Street Journal, which is the biggest selling newspaper in America but somehow escaped the clutches of the wicked anti-Trump conspiracy. I don't think the WSJ has ever conceded (at least editorially) that Lying Don lies a lot, he just stretches things a bit.

Similarly abroad, the conservative Daily Telegraph does its best to see the bright side of the Trump phenomenon; and when it can't find one, it looks the other way. Many of its columnists, however, are not so constrained. :)

The Steele dossier had nothing to do with starting the FBI investigation. What started it was this:

Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

Comey’s answer to why he didn’t tell Trump that the Dossier was financed by his political enemies was “I don’t have a good answer for that”.

That blew me away. He needs to keep talking lol.
