"American politics expert Professor Angelia Wilson of the University of Manchester, told Newsweek that insurrection is an act of violent resistance against a civil authority or government, that may involve any weapon or hand-to-hand combat".

14th and Independence is about a mile from the Capitol building... I'm surprised the WaPo isn't claiming anyone walking around carrying a firearm anywhere in the US wasn't somehow an existential threat to Democracy or some other bullshit insanity...
