The career I chose to pursue had almost nothing to money. I wanted to do something that I could really enjoy and flourish at.

What exactly is a woke junk college?

The only openly political thing I ever remember hearing a professor say in class was that he opposed Gulf War 1.

I am surprised I was never able to track down all the Marxist indoctrination classes.

I studied and pursued a career in science.

I never asked what career anyone had. My comment was framed around the statement of kneeling in cat piss.

Lots meaning over 11 Million Americans.

I have mixed feelings on this. For one thing, the owners of rental units are hurting themselves. If evicting people means their own family won't be evicted or they won't lose their business, I support them doing what is necessary.

OTOH, those laughing at the misery of millions of Americans after their own government both hid then fucked up the US COVID response is deplorable.

Mine was military helicopter pilot and flight instructor for 20 years and then a glorified bus driver for another 25....with 6 years of overlap.

What was yours?

I wanted to fly and had to go to college to get there. My Plan A was simply to join the Army's Warrant Officer helicopter program straight out of high school but the war ended and I had to go to college. ;)

I liked flying in choppers, when I had the chance.

I really do not think 95% of people dream about how to make the most money. The 5 percent that do are probably in sales, marketing, finance, investment banking.

I think most people would like to do something that genuinely interests them and gives some meaning to their lives.

I am not going to begrudge anyone who chose bus driving, plumbing, or cat piss-kneeling as a profession. My choice was to pursue academic and career choices where I would mostly be using my mind.
