Everyone ready for "Election Denial: the Sequel"

Some predictable responses on this thread. Just to clarify: there is ZERO comparison between what any Dem or Republican or anyone has done in the past in terms of contesting results or casting doubt on election integrity and Trump's 2 year, relentless, ego-driven campaign to convince his supporters that the 2020 election was stolen and that there was "massive fraud" and that American elections are no longer reliable. Zero.

Btw, Trump also said there was "massive fraud" in 2016 - when he WON.

I have two words for you.............RUSSIAN COLLUSION

Seriously - that seems at all equivalent to you to what has gone on over the past 2 years?

Actually, that's not a serious question. It isn't - on any planet, or in any universe.
Yes when you have a former president and a former secretary of state going around claiming the present president is illegitimate its pretty bad. I guess you missed the whole Trump won because of Russian Collusion thing

Carter told a crowd Friday that a full investigation into Russian election interference would show Trump did not win the 2016 election and that he ascended to the presidency by way of the Russians.

I must have missed where 10's of millions of Americans no longer trust our elections because of "Russian Collusion."

It's a silly debate on this thread. Again - there is ZERO comparison to what Trump and his minions have done since 2020. Don't believe me? Just watch what happens in November. It will have no precedent.

Trump has fundamentally altered the fabric of our electoral politics, likely for a generation. Over half of the GOP candidates for the midterms are full-blown 2020 election deniers, or have at minimum openly questioned the outcome.

So, what is going to happen when some of those candidates lose? It's not hard to imagine. We're going to get a repeat of 2020, multiplied by the # of Republican deniers who come up short. I'd guess that we'll have dozens of candidates who refuse to concede their races, and claim that the election was stolen from them.

Fun times ahead.
Correct. IF they lose, they'll pull the trump stunt.
But...since trump got his ass kicked so convincingly, most Red states have made it almost impossible for a Democrat to win a House seat.

Senate...not so much

It is EXACTLY the same. No amount of whataboutism changes that, no amount of 'but this is different' changes that.

You ignored what I posted. It's like you want to believe it's the same.

We've never had so many Americans lack trust in our elections - and it's not close. 10's of millions. The stats prove that it's not even close to the same, much less exactly.

It's why Presidential candidates always concede when they lose. This is a tough, tough thing for candidates to do - but they all have, because they're Americans, and they know how vital that is to the peaceful transition of power, and the integrity of our elections.

Trump would not, and will not. He's not capable of it. He doesn't care about the country.

“... the success of his administration...”

This is rich.

Biden’s success includes out of control inflation, borders and crime, a fentanyl crisis, loss of energy independence and a nuclear confrontation with the Russian Federation.

Incredible that there are actual idiots like this out there. Scary.

Ivermectin worked in India and Brazil. Ivermectin is a protease inhibitor and Paxlovid is a protease inhibitor the are very similar drugs
LOL. Like H2O and H2O2 are 'very similar'.

Neither worked anywhere in the world. Anecdotal evidence from two places with the worst healthcare in the world, makes for great soundbites on Hannity. Not so much here.
