As for Evince, it is unfathomable how much resentment she receives, given that there are multitudes of posters here who are actual racists, bigots, creeps, and sociopaths. I like Evince. And if you actually consider her history on this board, she has been pretty prescient on a host of issues and themes.

I laid it out for you above. Sorry you can't comprehend words. Evince spams threads with one sentence name calling off topic insults and useless virtue signalling that rarely adds to the discussion. She often repeats the same things in the same thread as part of this pattern and posts multiple posts in order to clutter up and disrupt the thread instead of using the edit feature when she has more to say. Much like Trumpians ignore his incalculable number of flaws, you choose to ignore stuff like this.

I grew up in portland oregon and the liberal school system in the 70s taught me to ignore racists or you give them the power and you give them the reaction they seek. It's a shame that that advice must be in the dustbin these days. I have a learned apathy towards racists. They are so pathetically outdated it's ridiculous. Can you imagine running around all day hating half the people you see? What a terrible way to choose to experience your time on earth. Ignore them and they get no reward in their tiny brains. React, and you've reinforced the behavior.

Come on man, aren't you a social worker? You had to have learned this in college. I was in finance but even I had exposure to psychology in the humanities program.
 
Honestly though, if you create a thread, you should be able to do what you want. If you want to ban everyone, other than 2 posters than who cares?

I've been banned from one or 2, and I didn't really give a shit. If the OP banned me, I probably didn't care about his worthless thread anyway.
 
Seems to me that most of those using banning and ignore spend a lot of their time after flinging limp-wristed shots at those they are claiming to ignore. They just do it from the protection of a hide-from bunker or behind the skirts of some other rightard. Oh yeah, this cowardice seems largely a characteristic of Deplorable sissies.

IGNORE is a beautiful thing. Absolutely marvelous. It wouldn't be worth posting here without it. I post here for the conversations, not the mindless arguments.

This board is full of overt racists and really dumb ass people. What would be the point of talking to such people?

The rules of engagement don't change because I'm on a message board. I chose the people I want to talk to and the conversations I want to talk about. Asshole people and posters should be ignored and confronted only when necessary.
