Thoughtful, intelligent people know this. We also realize that as birth rates drop in all first world countries, immigration is a necessity. Idiots like the OP think that somehow we are going to attract all-white, Christian, well-educated, experienced applicants. Why would such a person leave Norway or the UK or France or Germany or even Japan, where they have national health care, a higher standard of living, more free time to travel or play or rest -- to come here? They won't and they don't.

Our once-proud and world-class universities are hurting due to Trump's xenophobic war on the rest of the world. International student enrollment is down. Workers requesting work visas are down. No one wants to risk deportation by his ICE goons. Trump is actively pushing away the very sort of prospective citizens that the moronic OP thinks we need.

They do not realize that kicking out immigrants hurts the American workers, too. If you walk in and arrest a quarter of a company's workers, you will make them less productive and less profitable. There is not a line of American workers who want or can do the jobs the immigrants do. So the company loses money. Then some of the other workers are not needed. Trump is hurting the American economy because he knows hate works on his followers. He is making big bucks, so he does not care.

We are lucky to have "freebies" coming over the border. A lot of nations, esp. the oil-rich ME ones, have to spend money to import guest workers to do the same jobs "illegals" do here -- food service, construction, landscaping, daycare, elder care, housekeeping, factory work, etc. They have to pay them, house them, transport them. We get ours for free and provide them nothing other than a paycheck.
