Eric Holder's DEA forget student in cell for 5 days, will sue DEA

How are you going to blame Eric Holder, for what some low-level staff did? That's like blaming President Obama for the sexual shenanigans of the Secret Service. Massive fail.

Amazing how the buck never reaches the bosses desk in this administration.....Harry Truman was a 'real' Democrat, unlike the weasels claiming to be Dems today...

I hope this guy wins big in his lawsuit.

there is no more lawsuit. the kid SETTLED for 4 million dollars

Good, he deserved it.

The sad thing is....no one will be held responsible for this near murder....no one will lose their job...no one will go to jail....no one will lose a days pay over this.....
typical for this administration....only the taxpayer will suffer...the innocent taxpayer....ala the IRS and TSA scandals....no one pays a price for breaking the law
or the incompetence they show....their paychecks will keep on coming.

and the worse thing about all of this is most of the proles can't understand that the money we spend on training these fucktard law enforcers don't even have to follow the laws, just follow policies and procedures.

Well, how about the vast increase in 'no knock' warrants. The increasing militarization of police. The suspension of civil liberties. The seizure and forfiture of property under the guise of fighting drugs. Only the 'war on terror' eclipses the threat to freedom of the 'war' on drugs.

I'm inclined to disagree about the WOD vs WOT ranking. The former is much older, and hence the DEA and ATF have seniority over DHS, and are more firmly entrenched. Also, didn't the priorities within the DOD look something like this to you?

Drug Testing Program
Ancillary Training
The Mission

Yes, I'm bitching because I just got hot with another new two-hour online AT course last night...

Yeah, that's about how it went for me. Piss in a cup 3 times a week because people in other companies got caught smoking in the brks.

Notice that after this post, the liberal assholes clammed up.....

Its THIS administration that gets a pass on every underhanded, lawbreaking and incompetant thing that we hear about.....
Everything they fuckup gets stonewalled in hearings, ignored by the liberal press, and the scandals labeled as phony.....

Pretty sure drug dealer shootouts cause more harm, talk to anyone who knows an addict. Drugs ruin lives, they ruin the people who use them and they ruin everyone around them.
I smoked marijuana on and off from the age of 14 till last year. It has not ruined my life. I function just fine thank you. Graduated college with honors, graduated from law school. I am successful at what I do. I don't raid my bank account for drug money, don't pawn shit to get my next high. I have from time to time used cocaine in my past, same same. Drugs do ruin SOME lives just like eating too much saturated fat does, just like alcohol does. Just like cigarettes do. Anything when not used in moderation causes problems.

Drug dealer shootouts? Where the fuck do you live? Juarez? I live just 35 miles north of Juarez and we NEVER have drug dealer shootouts. Last night we had a murder suicide, but no drug dealers involved. Hell I KNOW drug dealers that have never been arrested let alone involved in a shootout. El Paso Texas is RIGHT NEXT door to Juarez, they have the lowest murder rate in the country for a city there size. Hell just a couple of years ago they had like 2 murders the whole year. All this drug boogy man bullshit is part of the routine to keep the war on drugs humming.

Federal agents raided a college party and rounded up several attendees. One student was told he was going to be released, but was instead locked in a tiny closet-sized dungeon, where he spent 5 days secluded in blackness without food or water. The “forgotten” prisoner was ignored for days as he screamed for help, drifting into delirium and recycling his own urine to survive. No one responsible for his torture was ever punished.

That last sentence is what most astounds me about this story. People can make terrible mistakes, but when people's lives are at stake you need to be held accountable when they happen.

you would think that, but there are so many people in this nation today that believe that without law enforcement/government we would have anarchy. in the last century, over 100 million people have been killed by governments/law enforcement. By those numbers, just how bad could anarchy really be?

Can you name any time where a GovCo employee was held accountable? If it happens at all it is few and far between.
