I'm a vocational instructor. 60 to 75% of my students are non-white and some barely speak English. My job is to teach them a skill that is going to put their starting pay significantly above mine at the tender age of 17-25 years old. I fucking love my job. There is nothing like seeing one of these guys drive up to see me in his new truck, or pictures of his new family, or to brag about his first apartment after moving out of mom and dad's place.
