I got to SoCal long before the smoking ban but individual barmaids could still make a no smoking rule on her shift. We the people would walk across the street to drink whenever she was there. She spent her entire shift in an empty pub that went bankrupt a few years later.

An individual doesn't get to decide the will of the people yet we have a very small group of billionaires bankrupting our nation.

At least she gained a couple of years of better health by not working all shift in a haze of ciggy smoke

I bet she just got a better job

And a few more years with her grandkids

Lets hope.

The past tells us that despite Trump Charity advertising it was to help Veterans and the disabled, those were the people Trump was defrauding with that scam until the govt forced them to close it.

The past tells us that despite Trump University advertising it was to help students struggling with the high costs of other Universities and offering them a cheaper way to get a practical education that would lead to big earnings, those students were the people Trump was defrauding with that scam until the govt forced them to close it, leaving the kids with lots of debt and no education or certificates or degrees.

So lets cross our fingers that this time Trump delivers and is not just in on a scam of the people he likes to pretend to help while stealing from them.
