Are you aware that America is experiencing one of the largest outbreaks of whooping cough in the last 50 years?

Did you know that pertussis, commonly called whooping cough, is highly contagious and is transmitted through the air in the coughs and sneezes by the person who is infected with the disease? That touching a wet surfaces where an infected person has coughed or sneezed on and then touching one’s own eyes or nose can also be a way of catching the disease?

Yeppers, hit California a couple years ago; my husband got it, but we got drugs in him pretty early. Had a co-worker in Minneapolis who got it and because they weren't expecting it there she didn't get treated in time; had a miserable couple months as opposed to the miserable couple weeks she would have had otherwise.

Heard measles is also killing more people now that in recent years.

Get your kids vaccinated, people! and get boosters where needed!
