Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt was finally ousted Thursday, and the employees of the agency couldn’t be more happy.

One of the most scandal-plagued members of President Donald Trump’s cabinet, Pruitt’s unethical behavior was outed time after time thanks, in part, to leaks and whistleblowers giving information to the media.

According to Robin Bravender, Climatewire deputy editor at E&E News, one career staffer revealed, “It was very openly celebratory” in the halls of EPA today.

Zack Colman, White House reporter for E&E News, noted that the EPA still had not formally been told about the resignation as of close of business Thursday.

Trumps own Administration is taking down it's self ...

He always talks about them and they ... but them and they are HIM and he and his people picked them.

They probably ought to hold off on the celebration till they see who the replacement is. Might get worse, a lot worse if Trump is true to form.

I have no personal experience with anyone who's goal was to make his own employees hate him.

Is it mainly a Republican thing?

You reportedly have a great deal of experience in making women hate you. Is it a DEMOCRAT thing?

You gotta wonder about the mindless rightwing parrots who keep squawking that "Deep State" did in Pruitt.

Even the reliably rightwing National Review said Pruitt was unethical, abusive, and had to go. In other words, even thinking conservatives knew Pruitt was the very definition of an odious Swamp Critter.

EPA administrator Scott Pruitt had enemies who were out to get him because he is a Republican, a conservative, a high-ranking member of the Trump administration, and an environmental deregulator. But it wasn’t liberals, the media, or deep staters who made him get large raises for his top aides, deny that he knew about it, and then admit that he did. It wasn’t they who made him have an aide find him a discount mattress, or run sirens so he could get to a French restaurant on time.

The aides who told journalists, or congressional investigators, or both about Pruitt’s misbehavior weren’t all or even mostly liberals or deep staters. Several of them were conservative Trump supporters who were disturbed by Pruitt’s behavior and thought he was serving both the president and taxpayers poorly. Some of them had come with Pruitt from Oklahoma because they believed in him. The more they saw him in action in D.C., the less they did. Today it caught up with him.

Imagine that. Swamp rats in celebration over a delay in it being rained.
These people probably felt abused. He made some of them put his expenditures on their private credit cards. I wouldn’t appreciate that and would be happy such a boss was fired.

I've heard that several women said you were unethical, abusive, and had to go. Shouldn't you deal with your own issues before you criticize other men?

I've often used my private credit card for expenses incurred while working for a large company. Since I get 2% cash back, I consider it a benefit. :D

A private company is different than the government. But wouldn't having your employees charge stuff for you, on their credit, be a problem even in a large corporation?
