The issue really is how much do we contribute. If that is not a correct question to make, then what is the correct question?
One massive volcano changes the climate more than humans do. Massive solar flares change things. Ocean phenomenon like El Nino change the climate more than humans.
I think it is an important question. I am not sure we contribute as much as alarmist think we do.
There you have it, folks.
Goal post moving, at it's finest, by the denialist community.
First, there was no global warming. None. Nada. Zilch.
Then, the denialists said there was warming, but hey, it was all natural.
Then, the warming was faked by an international conspiracy of scientists who fudged the data.
Now, well yes there is warming, but maybe humans aren't contributing as much as the IPCC says they are.
You know what type of people keep moving the goal posts, and keep changing their stories a full 180 degrees?
That's right. People who actually know they are wrong, but can't bring themselves to admit it on an obscure message board forum.
It doesn't matter what you think, what I think, or what any rube on jpp thinks. None of us are trained and qualified climate research scientists. The leading experts worldwide in the field have studied this topic for 40 years, and have concluded that all the weight of evidence strongly indicates man is largely responsible for the current rapid global warming trend.
