Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm ostensibly admitted lying under oath in a letter on Friday when she told Republicans she didn’t own any individual stocks which Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) called “a troubling pattern” and “unacceptable.”

I think that a Federal indictment will be forthcoming….Never!

Democrats make mistakes while Republicans commit felonies according to our two-tiered justice system.

For the Swamp lying under oath is rapidly becoming SOP. They know that they will be protected so long as they stay in service of the Regime, which is brutal and tyrannical.

She's a Democrat so she won't be charged. The MSM and DoJ will just chalk it up to mistaken memory, or an unintentional oversight, and that's the last you'll hear of it. Now, if she were a Republican, she'd be heading to prison...

Overall, we rate Bizpac Review Right Biased based on story selection and editorial positions that almost always favor the right. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to poor sources, misleading loaded language, and three failed fact checks.

First-time violators of the STOCK Act's disclosure provisions generally face a $200 fine. It's unclear whether Granholm has paid any penalty.

Granholm sold up to $240,000 in stocks from April 2021 through October 2021.

She disclosed the trades in December 2021 — weeks or months after a federal deadline.

Granholm's situation follows numerous STOCK Act violations by lawmakers and congressional staff.

Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm violated a federal conflicts-of-interest and transparency law by improperly reporting up to a quarter-million dollars in stock sales, according to an Insider analysis of financial disclosure documents.

Sounds like exactly what I said earlier. Because she's a Democrat, she can just sell the stock anyway, then claim it was just a mistake, and the MSM runs cover for her. Doesn't matter if she violated a whole book full of felony laws...

While lawmakers who violate the STOCK Act face a fine, the penalty is usually small — $200 is the standard amount — or waived by House or Senate ethics officials. Ethics watchdogs and even some members of Congress have called for stricter penalties or even a ban on federal lawmakers from trading individual stocks.

Lots of Republicans on that list of 78
