But I forgot - it's ok for white men to get angry at guns being "taken away" but not ok for black men to get angry as they see their young men getting killed and the killers walking free.

As you said, Darla - if they really think it was legal, why aren't they up in arms about changing the law?

And on this thread - why has it become all about whether or not they are racist or not, instead of about Till and Martin? They know this is an issue that is hitting home to a lot of us right now; that a lot of us feel that "walking while black" has just become a reason why someone can kill a young man. They don't like that we think their comments were racist? Why don't they show a little class and say "Hey, I understand you disagree, I see where you're coming from, and hopefully my future postings will show I'm not racist" and give it a rest?

Now, I suppose they could say the same for Desh and BAC (and Poet when he was on here). But you know, it would be nice if for once the white men gave in gracefully instead of women and minorities always being the ones pushed to give in to "make peace".

They just have to STOP POSTING. STOP COMPLAINING. Focus on the issues. They can be the ones to do it first. MAN UP you all. Focus on the issue. Stop all the crap. You might be pleasantly surprised by the reaction you get.

"But moooooommmmmmmmmm... she did it first" is all I'm hearing.

Evince, Darla, me, BAC - we aren't idiots. But we're tired of being disparaged and being told to "just get over it".

If you, tekky & Darla REALLY cared about racism, and really saw it as a serious issue - you would think that falsely accusing someone of racism, or calling them a racist without any justification whatsoever, was serious as well.

So, pipe down. I wasn't going to just sit back & shut up after BAC called me a motherfucking racist for the umpteenth time. I was going to defend myself, and do so passionately.

And screw "respecting" BAC. You have to earn respect, and he's a major league fraud & hypocrite.

Yes I guess it would be ignorant to someone with blinders on, please tell me if the Oval office is to now be commenting on local news why Obama didn't comment on the 13 month old baby that was shot in the face and killed because his Mom didn't have the money for the thugs , or how many young Blacks die ever week in Chicago why isn't he commenting on them , ooo that's right that would blow his gun ban theory all to hell, I guess the thugs up there didn't get the memo that there guns are illegal , BAC I have always respected your opinion as well as every bodies really ( they are our own and we are in tilted to them ) but to believe Obama had nothing to do with this case is ridicules at best , lets see the DOJ was there sponsoring marches , they had a special investigator , the prosecution didn't even hand over all the evidence , the judge refused to allow important evidence and yet Zimmerman was still found innocent , I guess those 6 people are just creepy crackers that must be racist

I bait him with that ONE post (which worked by the way - and was a lot more innocuous than "motherfucking racist"), and I'm disgusting, and belong in the 'asshole hall of fame.'
