Have I said that? I'd appreciate you showing where that happened. Being able to say, "I think you are wrong in this case, and that the comparison case you use has these differences, and this is why." must be part of the conversation if we are ever to hold a conversation on the issue.
If one side isn't allowed to speak at all per the rules of "agree or we'll call you racist regardless of past and current agreements" it becomes a net loss to the conversation. In such a case the conversation can't even be contemplated because if one doesn't agree with you they are monstrous hideous beasts who "believe" something they've never shown a proclivity to believe.
The attempts to shut him up in one form or another is directly antithetical to the conversation taking place.

The Till case was worse because Till was younger, it was totally premeditated, and there were basically no overly broad laws that can be said to have forced the juries hand, the jury just totally ignored the law because it was a black kid.
