And I never said I outright didn't believe her. I think the conflicting testimonies & evidence created too much ambiguity for a jury to cross the reasonable doubt threshold.

It may surprise you, desh, but not everyone is going to agree with every thing you say; and this doesn't necessarily make them a racist.

With all due respect .. and in the hopes that you'll respond to this .. I'll say this again, racist/bad/improper/you name it jury decisions are no defense for racism. What you reveal is an inability to critically think this through beyond the jury decision. The 'group' that you are having problems with are people who have that ability.

Your use of the technicalities of the decision is analogous to those who did the same thing in the acquittal of those who murdered Emmett Till .. a comparison you want to reject.

I'll say this again .. in the same state with the same 'stand your ground' laws, a black woman with no criminal record got 20 years for firing a gun in the air. It's not about the law, it's about the application of the law .. and Florida has a long ass nasty fucking history of racist application of the law.

As a person of conscience .. not ideology .. how do you miss this truth?

I have MUCH more of an issue w/ the bolded than I do w/ the recent verdict. Without knowing the underlying facts of that case, my initial impression would be that it is a miscarriage of justice.

The prosecution didn't make a definitive case on this; even many on the side of GZ being guilty agree with that assessment. "Reasonable doubt" is a cornerstone of our justice system. There are plenty of things that I can't stand about the way that GZ conducted himself in this instance, but to prove murder or manslaughter, the standard for reasonable doubt is high.

I wouldn't have been shocked if the jury came back w/ guilty, but I thought it was borderline at best, based on the case that the prosecution presented. It's not enough to want GZ to be guilty; the prosecution has to prove it, beyond a reasonable doubt.

I am on to your routine slick. You live in rage and you seek to make others feel guilty. You use the term racist as a weapon. You once criticized dems for doing that same thing as it pertains to Obama. Different day I guess. I watched you use it to bend Howey into submission. It won't work on me.

My guess is that the only racism you have experienced in your life is when whiteys like Darla and Desh fall all over themselves trying to prove to you that they aren't racist. I have worked with blacks like you. You storm around the work place with a chip on your shoulder bitching about something that happened 200 years ago an you never personally experienced. Most people avoid you so they don't get reported to HR.

I have tried to be nice to you on many occasions, but unless someone agrees with you 100% on what you believe you won't have it. So no bother to me. That you think everyone that disagrees with you is a racist is your problem and not mine. It says more about that gargantuan chip you hav on your shoulder.

You like calling people racist because you know it is one word people hate being called. You rebel in them genuflecting in front of you trying to prove they are not. Well homey don't play dat.

How hard is it for you to understand that this is not about the jury?
The prosecution is as corrupt as the police force and the Judge, and they all get their paychecks from the same account.

Yes that is exactly what BAC expects. You have to accept his version or be branded a racist. It is old and tired. It is how he keeps Darla, Desh and Howey in line. What he doesn't get is that folks are tiring of the "wounded black guy" routine.
