The leak was first reported by BleepingComputer months after a hacker attempted to sell the information for $30,000 in July.

The data was released publicly after Musk bought Twitter. The breach happened in Dec of 2021.

This data was collected in December 2021 using a Twitter API vulnerability disclosed in the HackerOne bug bounty program that allowed people to submit phone numbers and email addresses into the API to retrieve the associated Twitter ID.

Like trump, he needs a constant flow of attention.

So he publicly affected Twitter shares by stating that he would buy it. If he was allowed to back out of the deal, I believe the SEC would have something to say about market manipulation.

So... he opened his big mouth, tried to change his mind, was forced to complete the transaction, and now he's alienating the entire staff.

And the revenue stream.

I never thought I'd see a businessperson less competent than trump...but here he is.

Although, he's an actual billionaire.

A Republican data analytics firm left a massive cache of voter information exposed on a publicly accessible server.

The 1.1-terabyte database belonging to Deep Root Analytics contained the names, birthdates, home addresses, phone numbers and registration information of more than 198 million Americans.

The problem is that those responsible for preventing that are the very people that Musk fired. He sucks. This isn't at all a surprise.
