Look at the current state of Twitter. It's a disaster and the debt service alone is a killer, not to mention the number of companies who no longer advertise on this site. Its also a disaster for Tesla, whole stock is also in the toilet.

I still think he is a media whore.
Who is almost, completely dependent on the Fed (creating the equity boom) and the government for Tesla's rise and Space X, respectively.

But still...good for him.

on the other hand his expenses are way down.......I would say let's wait until he's owned it for a year, then take a look.....

The key there is “when a replacement is found,” which in the Musk world, could be never, he’s learned watching Trump, you can say anything want anytime, validity isn’t important
