Elon Musk offers to buy Twitter, take it private

Trump began lying about COVID in December 2019. The lies still float among the Trumpian cocksucker mob.

The laptop story came out in October 2020; Trump's October Surprise...not that it did him any good. LOL

When the New York Post first reported in October 2020 that it had obtained the contents of a laptop computer allegedly owned by Joe Biden’s son Hunter, there was an immediate roadblock faced by any other news outlet that hoped to corroborate the reporting, as many did: The newspaper wasn’t sharing what it obtained.

The national story quickly centered on the dubious provenance of the material, particularly given how, four years before, WikiLeaks had begun releasing material stolen by Russian hackers at about the same point in the presidential contest. But for news outlets interested in actually evaluating what the New York Post claimed it had, neither the paper nor its source for the material, President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani, were willing to share. (Giuliani famously told the New York Times that he was hoping to avoid having the material vetted before being published.) It therefore seemed wise to treat the New York Post’s claims with some skepticism.

Now, a new voice has joined those raising questions about the validity of the material that’s alleged to have been on Hunter Biden’s laptop: the guy who recovered that data in the first place.

Last month, The Washington Post was able to publish a report based on a copy of material that we obtained from a Republican activist named Jack Maxey who’d gotten it from Giuliani. We had multiple experts examine the contents of a hard drive that purported to contain the laptop’s contents, validating tens of thousands of emails as likely to be legitimate. But an enormous amount of the material on the drive couldn’t be validated as legitimate, in part because of the game of telephone that the material had undergone by the time it reached us.....

Weak? Ok, to each his own. We've already seen scientists now looking further into the origins of how it started. Yet you're cool with Twitter saying at the time it shouldn't be questioned?

We can already see by the response in the post following this that it's being framed about Trump and that's completely missing the argument. This discussion is far bigger than Trump but unfortunately it gets stuck on him.

Gates and Co. didn't release Covid until December 19, fucktartd. They didn't know about Covid until at least mid-January or February.

I know somebody that got Covid and recovered before they knew about it.

The rest of your BS is trying to cast doubt on the validity of Hunter's laptop, when the relevant part (AKA not his hookers and blow) which is the email chains, are confirmed by the email chains of his 2 partners that are in prison.

You haven't given a single example of it as of yet.

Twitter banned NY Post after they ran the Hunter Biden laptop article.

Pretty sure that's why I got banned, for posting pics from it and articles about Hunter's partners.

I know I left the "Stop the Steal thread" and about a week later Twitter banned me.

That was about 3 weeks before the #StopTheSteal riot.

Thanks for the conspiracy theory, Matt. Your stories are always fun.

I love them! Always make me laugh hard. Though rarely some of them are true.

Can't have a good conspiracy theory unless there is a kernel of truth. In Matt's case, yes, there is a Bill Gates, the Coronavirus and a vaccine but how he twists them all together is fun!

Maybe we’re having separate conversations, which is definitely possible on a board like this, because I just did. This has all been in the news, how Twitter blocked discussions of those topics at the time only to have them now shown to be legitimate (or in the Wuhan lab case, very possibly legitimate).

You and others may not care now but in the future it may happen to a subject you do care about and at that point the precedent has been set.

You have been listening to the RW propaganda. Twitter allows free speech. Always has been.
