All the cars Tesla producers, except the Cybertruck, had their designs started before Musk joined the company, and threw out the founders. They are normal looking cars, with normal features, but greater electric torque, and can be charged from an outlet.
The Cybertruck is "different." It is 100% Musk's baby, and looks like it belongs in a 1970's terrible science fiction movie. It certainly does not look like previous production pickup trucks. It fails on a lot of the features of a pickup truck, like the ability to load things onto it. The styling gets in the way of loading things; you know the whole purpose of a pickup truck. It is a pickup truck that cannot have things picked up onto it.
Musk has hired the best, had them do amazing things for him, and then fired them. The problem becomes that it is hard to hire them back.
That and also his sense of style is shi... Well shall we say garbage.
