Just as Romney/Obama ended the "lawn signs are more reliable than polls" narrative, I predict that this election will end the "look at those crowds!" gauge....

eh, not really. Even if trump loses he stands to actually have a fuckton more votes this time around. crowds are indicative he has a shit ton of enthusiasm and voters on his side, sleepy joe just has more

People have made a big deal about the crowds. But when hasn't ANY Presidential candidate been able to draw in thousands of enthusiastic voters in the weeks before an election?

The base of both sides gets pumped regardless of who it is - Dukakis, Dole, Kerry. Doesn't matter. I'd agree that the faces of Trump supporters look more worshipful than most, but if this was a non-COVID year, both guys would have thousands at rallies & events in the lead-up.

Generally true. It was certainly a problem for Hillary - she lost the turnout battle more than anything.

It's hard to find a Dem who is genuinely enthusiastic about Biden. It's kind of a shame; there were a few excellent candidates in that field, imo.

you can't honestly say Joe's supporters have more enthusiasm........you could reliably say that Trump haters are enthused.....but Biden is not a factor, besides having a name that isn't Trump......

now I have heard of Judge Roy Moore.....that was a famous race.......interesting that his opponent was not famous.....I guess why there's the term "also ran", and it can even apply to the winners.......
