Economy UP, Inflation down, Wages Up, Prices Down

It seems you don't understand complete information.

Right.
Likewise, if wage increases are 4%, then wage increases are 4%.
If there is inflation then prices have gone up.
Wow. You're really on a roll here! :)

Right, but you're purposely missing the whole point (the complete information).

If my wages are increasing at a faster rate (4%) than prices are increasing (2%), then I'm coming out AHEAD.

Stop lying, Richard. I lived through those years, Richard. I witnessed it for myself, Richard.

Wages increased at a SLOWER rate than inflation did, and product prices during the Autopen years increased much MORE than the "official inflation rate" did.
I see. So we should believe an idiot on the internet instead of the actual numbers that show that wages grew faster than inflation under Biden.

2021 Inflation - 4.7%. Wages - 8.89%
2022 inflation - 8% Wages - 5.32%
2023 inflation - 4.1 wages - 4.43
2023 inflatoin - 2.9% wages - 4.3%

 Stay focused, Richard...

You said, and I quote: "Inflation occurring and prices going down are mutually exclusive."

I then proved you wrong by providing the example of eggs decreasing in price (from $7/doz to $3/doz) WHILE inflation was occurring.

This is the part where you say "Whoops. I was wrong about that. Thanks for correcting me".
A price may go down and another price may go up when inflation occurs but prices go up when inflation occurs.

Sorry if I don't get your sense of humor. To me, though, joking around without seriousness, while looking for reactions, is trolling. Not a good look for a forum owner
If that was all I did I may agree, but instead I tend to post about the topic, and sometimes throw in a joke about the topic. If I were you I would not be proud of how much you misunderstand deadpan or sarcasm, it's not a good look.

Sarcasm is a lot more witty and not so overused. You make these comments constantly, negating any effect of sarcasm.

Prices as in the complete set of prices can not go down if inflation is occurring.
Inflation is cratering.
~ Yes, inflation is generally dropping in the U.S., with the latest figures showing a continued easing of price increases. While prices remain high, the rate at which they are increasing has slowed down. For example, the annual inflation rate is currently at 2.4%, which is the lowest it's been in several years.

Is this Trumpian economics?????

It’s hard to determine in print.

The economy is in limbo. Trump has taken power over it band he changes his alleged mind a like a kid in a candy store. He does not have the education or experience to run international trade. He waffles and businessmen have to delay decisions. He changes so often, that they have to do something. That is, they pretend he has no power and they are going on like he does not exist.
