Economy UP, Inflation down, Wages Up, Prices Down

It's funny how you don't know how inflation works. If inflation is 2% then prices are 2% higher than they were a year ago.

If inflation exists then prices have gone up. The only way prices could have come down is if there is deflation.
It's funny how you don't know how complete information works. If inflation is 2% (BUT my wages have increased 4%), then I am becoming RICHER. That was the case during Trump 1 (and now Trump 2), but that was NOT the case during the Autopen Regime.

And what will happen IF and when Trump ever stops all his flip flopping on his tariffs and actually puts them on.
And here you are back to telling this lie again. TARIFFS ARE ALREADY ON, FLIPTHEBIRD.....
Now he is talking more tariffs on Copper ( 200% I believe ) and other metals we use to produce things here that will drive up the price of most everything that has electrical wire in it.
You have no idea how tariffs work.
Trump's tariffs will turn a good economy into shit, we just have to wait and see if and when he puts them in place .
Weird. The USA used to be funded primarily on tariffs, and the industrial revolution happened during that very same time period. Hmmmmmmmmmm...

Telling a lie again?
Why don't YOU pay attention to just what Trump has been saying,
IF you did you would know all he has been doing IS FLIP FLOPPING.

So this is good economical news

It hasn’t been this hard for Americans to find work since 2021

Layoffs may not be mounting, but it’s getting harder to find a job in a labor market where hiring is “anemic” as tariff-driven economic uncertainty has put a chill on some employers.

New data released Thursday showed that initial claims for unemployment benefits — considered a proxy for layoffs — fell last week. However, the number of recurring claims made by people who already have filed for unemployment rose to their highest level since November 2021.

Never questioned their credibility, just pointed out that they are a right center source, just as the NYT or WP are similarly a left center source. I even purposely used RCP to invalidate his post, upon which “vols” claimed it was a far left source

Even MSNBC figured that one out...

Untrue. What's difficult for many seeking work is they are unwilling to take a job that is anything less than their insane expectations about it. Since they can instead rely on the social-welfare system to take care of them, they have no incentive to take any job they deem is beneath them or requires any sort of actual hard work.

Blaming the workers for their economical blunders is the Scum-lican way.

It seems you don't understand inflation. If inflation is 2% then inflation is 2%. Prices haven't gone down if prices have gone up. The fact that you have more money when you go to the store doesn't negate the increase in prices.

Then you simply lie about the wages during the Biden years. Under Biden, wages increased faster than inflation.

:lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup:
I have been listening to this song and dance for decades, this is merely a deflection tactic of which the feeble mind are just to blind to see.
Really? How is it deflection?

The jobs are there. It's people not wanting to do them that's the problem.

It seems you don't understand inflation.
It seems you don't understand complete information.
If inflation is 2% then inflation is 2%.
Right.
Likewise, if wage increases are 4%, then wage increases are 4%.
Prices haven't gone down if prices have gone up.
Wow. You're really on a roll here! :)
The fact that you have more money when you go to the store doesn't negate the increase in prices.
Right, but you're purposely missing the whole point (the complete information).

If my wages are increasing at a faster rate (4%) than prices are increasing (2%), then I'm coming out AHEAD.
Then you simply lie about the wages during the Biden years. Under Biden, wages increased faster than inflation.
Stop lying, Richard. I lived through those years, Richard. I witnessed it for myself, Richard.

Wages increased at a SLOWER rate than inflation did, and product prices during the Autopen years increased much MORE than the "official inflation rate" did.
