And with Trumps 50% tariff on rear earth metals and copper that he has put in place but haven't worked through the supply chain yet start effecting everything electrical you buy they will hurt not only the electrical industry , construction industry , auto industry and more.
The price of autos will go up more again , autos have already gone up thousands from Feb. already, this I know because I bought a new truck in the end of Feb and the same truck in now over 5000 dollars more now then it was then.
That one tariff alone is going to hurt a lot of people and could do some real damage to out economy.

We have already seen that but the ones Trump is talking about 25/30 /40 /50 % and higher are NOT reasonable and when and IF he ever puts them all in place tariffs this high could and may really hurt our economy.
As of right now he has a few in place and prices of some goods have already gone up and when he put the rest in place the price of most everything we buy will go up.
And just wait till his tariffs on Copper and rear earth metals works through the supply chain, what is it 50%?
That will drive up the price of everything electrical and autos will be going up ANOTHER 2 or 3 thousand.

It would appear you don't know what the goal is in negotiations. Trump's WH said they would have 90 deals in 90 days. Instead they have zero deals and a couple of tentative agreements. A negotiation that results in no deal is not very good negotiating.

Tariffs are only good when they aren't so high that they cause prices of just about everything you buy up by 30/40 50% OR MORE like Trump;s tariffs may do IF he ever stops flip flopping and actually puts them on.
The ones he has ALREADY put on are working through the supply chains and ARE already driving prices up.
already and NOT all of them have yet.
And now that he has put tariffs on rare earth metals and COPPER everything that is electronic will go up, construction materials will go up , Copper wire, pipe, Lumber has already gone up, even the price of nails has gone up.
Auto manufactures use a lot of both of them and this will cause the price of autos to go up even MORE then they already have ( 5 to 7 thousand dollars ) driving down sales and causing even more lay offs in the auto industry. and for every one auto worker working there are 8 other people in supporting industries working , when they lay off auto workers it also effects those people in supporting industries .
Now IF his tariffs were in the REASONABLE RANGE say 5% then they may help but as I said tariffs of 30/40 / 50% or MORE are NOT reasonable.

Tariffs are ways to control specific industries . They are not blank crazy impositions. Trump does not understand tariffs or the economy.

Over $100 billion in revenue, and more advantageous for America trade arrangements.

Al of these countries have had tariffs against us for decades.
