Early assessments, Nuclear program not destroyed.

Oh, look.

The far left Democratic Socialist loons are twisting themselves into pretzels supporting a terrorist nation-state that has killed more than 1000 Americans and spread terrorism throughout the ME.

Too gross.

Now what?

First, you would have to believe this "leaked" "intel assessment".

Second, Israel knows these sites intimately. Anything useful is buried under megatons of mountain, and any attempt to excavate those sites would have to be undertaken with massive earth moving equipment. This would be readily apparent to the satellites parked over Iran. I think Israel can take care of some bulldozers and dump trucks without B-2s dropping more MOABs.

As I suggested earlier, they might have been looking to stockpile in the event that someday the world geopolitical situation changed in such a way as they determined they needed nukes for their own security.

The point remains that at 60% enrichment, they have no nuclear weapons and were likely not as close as is being suggested, making the orange idiot's grandstanding play unnecessary.

Had he not shredded the treaty they had signed, we'd have inspectors in their facilities watching and monitoring them.
Oh how you guys love your inspectors.

I love the lengths you are going to in order to defend a terrorist nation like Iran that is supported by Russia. Is your Trump hatred so great that you would do this?

Either way, we will end up with an agreement with Iran, much like the Obama agreement. Would have been easier and cheaper to have done that in the first place.

How do we know who and what to believe in these cynical times?

That's why I concentrate on the issues I understand--
healthcare,
labor justice,
women's and minority rights,
education,
public utilities and transportation,
standard of living across social strata.

If we're honest, WE KNOW that we're fucked to a fare thee well in those areas.

Probably on climate change as well, but again, I'm no expert.

On the world issues,
I just don't know what's true and what isn't.
We have to hope we have good people handling them,
and with the current administration,
we have no evidence whatever that good people even exist in it.

Women’s and minority rights” would include excluding men from competing against women in sports, right, old man?

Well there is a big difference between paying to drop bombs and paying them so they can fund their own bomb program.

If you reward them for being threatening, they'll have every reason to keep being threatening.

It probably was not destroyed, just buried and made very difficult to recover.

If it had been "Destroyed", that would mean it was oxidized by fire, and blown high into the air, in small particles, to drift on the wind, and slow come down as fall-out. I would hazard to guess that most Iranians, and other people in the ME and Europe didn't really want that to happen.

If the material were turned into Fall-out, many governments in the area would be reporting it. We don't need American or Iranian sources to get that information.

Still, making the material inaccessible for several years is probably a good thing.

By the time it is usable again, after digging out and clean up, the current Iranian Regime may be gone.
