Yes i suppose it could just put out separate statement or lists, but if it has a presence on SM that's inherently government interference and a violation of the first. it becomes a regulatory agency

The government puts out press releases all the time. Someone, such as the President's press secretary, is constantly feeding the government's version of truth to the press. This is just another format for the same thing, and getting the kind of hysterical reaction from the Right anyone might have predicted.

He's just the dumbfuck talking head of the administration. A sort of real-life Zaphod Beeblebrox there just to distract us from those really wielding the power... Biden's far too stupid, far too dull, and far too incompetent to be able to be the one coming up with his administration's policies. You need people were made stupid through years of academic study at a major university where they were divorced from all reality to do that.

but is this just press releases? I dont think it is.
I'm sure it's tied to the platforms or it would have no impact, and they want to impact speech

It's not just "press releases" when you have names of the people being appointed to the board...

Nina Jankowitz is the director
Robert Silvers is her immediate supervisor and co-chair
Jennifer Daskal is general council for this board

Who else is on it is a matter of question at the moment. One thing's for sure, it won't be neutral in its censorship and it will be pushing censorship.

If allowed to stand and operate, your and my First Amendment Rights have just ceased to exist.
