Igor Danchenko, an analyst who provided much of the research in a notorious dossier of unproven assertions and rumors about former President Donald J. Trump and Russia, was acquitted on Tuesday on four counts of lying to the F.B.I. about one of his sources.

The verdict was another stinging defeat for the special counsel, John H. Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr three years ago to investigate the F.B.I.’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

Before you make a complete idiot of yourself, you should maybe read the actual testimony and not just the stuff from the far right.

The FBI didn't use the dossier for a FISA application until February of 2017 when they applied for the the renewal of the warrant. The election was long over by February of 2017.

The FBI testified that 3 of the 4 people who worked for the Trump campaign that were surveilled were arrested, indicted and convicted of crimes. Meanwhile Durham is 0 for 2 in his attempts to convict anyone.

IF DANSCHENKO DID NOT LIE TO THE FBI, THEN THE FBI KNOWINGLY LIED TO THE FISA COURT, TO ILLEGALLY SPY ON POLITCAL OPPONENTS, AND THEN A SITTING POTUS.

The FBI knew as early as January 2017 that the info contained in the “Steele Dossier,” by former FBI informant and MI6 spy Christopher Steele, was mostly junk. Yet despite that they kept on using it for FISA renewals.
