Durham’s own witness just supplied reasonable doubt. This trial and Durham are such a joke.

But the situation shifted when the defense got to cross-examine Auten. Danchenko's lawyers highlighted Auten's previous testimony, given years ago to the Justice Department inspector general and to the Senate Judiciary Committee, which contradicted some of Durham's claims.
Auten previously said Danchenko was "truthful" and "assisted" the Russia probe. He also said securing Danchenko as an FBI source was "one of the best things that came out of" the Russia probe. This undercuts the core of Durham's indictment, which alleged that Danchenko serially lied to the FBI and impeded the investigators who were scrambling to verify the Steele dossier.
Danchenko's defense attorney, Danny Onorato, asked Auten in court on Wednesday if that was still his belief today, and Auten answered in the affirmative, adding, "I stand by my testimony."

On track to being one of the longest special counsel probes in history and without a single conviction.
 
He has been at it over three years now and all he has to show is one minor figure who pleaded guilty to a procedural crime and severed zero jail time.

This trial is also a sham, Durham is using it to once again voice all the undocumented innuendos against the FBI and little else, he knows he is done. The biggest error Durham and the right made was thinking a Democrat Administration would cut his funding and then he could launch another transparency conspiracy, he was wrong, they knew he had nothing and was only theatrical

So many MAGA-fools had placed all their hopes on this "hero" to expose that non-existent, "deep state". He's probably getting death threats - because that's what MAGA's do.. and he's looking for a scapegoat, which is what all Republican fascists do.

I can't believe we're still paying that ideologue. He's actually hurting this nation now. He needs to go away.

Well, in all fairness, he did get the one conviction, a procedural crime, Clinesmith edited an email to get a warrant. Clinesmith did 400 hours of community service and 1 year probation.
