It's another way of dehumanizing and criminalizing the poor. Shaming them by constantly accusing them of being drug addicts. That's the entire purpose of drug testing welfare recipients.

I thought that the EBT card and foodstamps was supposed to stop welfare recipients buying drugs instead of food?
