Many states have safe haven provisions for parents to drop infants off rather than killing them.

Typically at fire houses, hospitals, or police stations.

It's time for activists in each Red state to call for mothers of unwanted babies to do just that.

Let those who ram through anti abortion laws deal with the aftermath of their delusions.

Granted...it's extremely common for a mother to suddenly have a new appreciation for her baby right after birth. But many suffer a variety of economic difficulties and would rather their child have a chance at a better life.

Let all of those Texas/Mississippi babies have that chance.

Especially for those precious rape babies that some delusional legislators believe are 'an opportunity'.
 
idiot thinks abortion will be illegal. there is also the morning after pill
MS wants to ban it after 15 weeks -there is no impediment to getting an abortion
you cant just decide after the first trimester - reasonable restriction

I dont think overturning Roe is a good idea,but it's not some severe hardships

That would be preferable to ripping them apart nd sucking them out of the womb and throwing them in the trash.

Yes it would. And it would force Red states to deal with the flood of rape babies that they will be responsible for.

You see, after a rape, a woman is more likely to do a pregnancy test. At such an early stage, the grain of rice sized embryo could be removed without much effort.

It also forces Red states to increase funding for the programs necessary to care for unwanted babies. They can now feed/house them, which is something they show absolutely no interest in right now when a family is forced to give birth

If you were a woman with a desire for an abortion during the second trimester...IT WOULD BE A VERY SEVERE HARDSHIP.

As far as many of us are concerned, it is anything but a "reasonable restriction."

rather extreme......you know there are adoption agencies that will make arrangements prior to the child's birth including covering all maternity expenses........the mother can simply leave the child at the maternity ward and the agency will handle everything.......

I'll take your word for that, Dukkha. But that does not change or impact on what I wrote.

If you were a woman in the 4% who need or want an abortion during the second trimester...IT WOULD BE A VERY SEVERE HARDSHIP (contrary to what you wrote).

But by now, it should be obvious to everyone that the right-wing intends (incrementally) to ban all legal abortions.

Do you think banning all legal abortions would NOT a hardship?
