In 1990 there were 2,600 murders in NYC. Last there were around 350. That's a huge drop. There are multiple reasons for it and stop and frisk was one. That's not to say stop and frisk doesn't have faults because it does but there were more far more guns and drugs on the street in cities than in the suburbs where it is mostly behind closed doors

I guess you're not serious but you should be. Americans do far more killing with cars than with guns and we can easily cut the highway homicide totals in half and save money in the process but nothing is done. Instead we focus on the much smaller and less solvable problem of guns.
