Driven to suicide by weed: Familiar tale across USA...

Seems wasteful to me. I don't often dab, but it is a very strong but short lived high. Not really my cup of tea. I won't do edibles alone, because they can indeed get in your head. My wife and I just do them, watch TV, eat and laugh ourselves silly. I'm pretty fortunate that I don't really have many of the everyday problems I had when I was working and raising kids. My biggest worry today is whether I patched the leak in the Koi Pond.
Many people don't, but I tend to overthink everything when I eat thc. It happens in the first 15 minutes of smoking sometimes, but it's always short lived.
It's easier to control your buzz when you smoke.

I just question why anyone who doesn't smoke tobacco would subject themselves to same by employing Dachsund's suggestion?

I have no idea. He's basically describing dabbing but without the filter or the temperature control of a rig. I don't ever smoke weed. I vape or dab very rarely, it's almost always edibles, but I completely understand the feeling you're talking about.

I smoke so little, I don't worry about the health effects. Otherwise I would vape exclusively.

Decades ago we used to hold the lighter above the bowl and barely hit the pipe. It wouldn't light the cellulose, just the trichomes. Precursor to vaping as it were.
