Draft: Articles of Impeachment

When you presume that means "that something is the case on the basis of probability." In layman's terms it simply says that you are probably innocent. That said can you show me one instance of a jury giving a verdict of the defendant is innocent? Every verdict I have ever seen or heard about the verdict was either guilty or not guilty.

Juries do not decide innocence; they decide guilt or not guilty. Innocence is PRESUMED.

In a very narrow space you are...but impeachment proceedings will drag this all out to the general public because it will be unavoidable.

lol.....everyone knows you have nothing to drag out......the public's already aware of everything you are and except for "almost" 60 demmycunts in the house no one is interested in impeachment.......

I disagree Earl. It simply means there is insufficient evidence to support guilt. It does not mean you are innocent. People who are tried for a crime and win are not deemed innocent but Not Guilty. I know it basically means the same thing but you know how the law works.

As any other citizen, Trump is entitled to the presumption of innocence. It’s a bedrock principle of our system of justice.

Mullet screwed it up. His role as prosecutor *was strictly* an either/or proposition: either recommend an indictment or not. There’s no in between or kinda/sorta but not quite guilty. In not offering an up or down conclusion to his own investigation Mullet effectively left it to Barr and Rosenstein to finish his task.

And they did. Donald Trump is presumed innocent of both collusion and obstruction.

Conspiring to steal the white house using Russia is far worse than a small time bungled burglary or a BJ.

Trump is going down, just like he did on Putin

Pelosi: Public Wants Impeachment Now Because They Don't Understand The Process

Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared frustrated that so many people are calling for the House to impeach the president now without truly understanding how the process works. At her weekly press conference Wednesday morning, Pelosi said:

SPEAKER NANCY PELOSI: What's important for people to know, first of all, I travel all the time in the country. Do you know that most people think impeachment means you're out of office? Did you ever get that feeling or are you just in the bubble here? They think if you get impeached, you're gone, and that is completely not true.

(VIDEO)

And I may have thought that myself 50 years ago. You get impeached and it is an indictment. An indictment. So when you're impeaching somebody, you want to make sure you have the strongest possible indictment because it is not the means to an end that people think. All you do, vote to impeach, bye bye birdie. It isn't that. It is an indictment, so you want to have the best possible indictment.

Going through the legal process in a way that shows accommodation, that we need to get the courts to rule in our favor because we've done it correctly and the rest.

I think Nancy is trying to say impeachment means a trial; and since they don’t have the goods it wouldn’t end well for democrats lol.

You really need to get off your knees more so you can actually read what has happened.

One more time, illiterate moron.

“So that was Justice Department policy. Those were the principles under which we operated. And from them, we concluded that we would not reach a determination one way or the other about whether the president committed a crime.”

“As set forth in the report, after the investigation, if we had confidence that the president did not clearly commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not.”

What part of “would not” confuses you, illiterate dumbfuck?

Exactly what I said from the beginning and when Mueller didn't find evidence that confirmed Trump was guilty he stated such. He did not say Trump was innocent! Only that there wasn't evidence to support a charge. And must be presumed to be innocent.

Prosecutors DO NOT "EXONERATE" ANYONE...EVER.

They either BRING CHARGES or RECOMMEND CHARGES..MUELLER DID NEITHER = "INNOCENT" in the United States of America, the STALINIST LEFT's BULLSHIT NOTWITHSTANDING...

Mueller is not the AG or a jury; how does that enter into our discussion? It wasn't Mueller's job to determine guilt or innocence.

I didn't say he wasn't only that Mueller did not find enough evidence to bring charges. Which means Trump must be presumed innocent. The only person who knows for sure is Trump.
