Nice little psychological milestone, though I'm sure the market guys will chime in w/ minutiae regarding "technical breaks" and stuff like that.

Another month of solid gains could have an interesting effect on the election...

it won't have an effect on the election

and its cute how you call anything you don't agree with "minutia"

Now if it will just stop that pesky health insurance Obama promised would not change from going up in some cases cases 200%!

Oh that's right: Obama lied and my insurance died!

why would you call it minutia? because you're dismissing it of course, eg, you don't agree with it

must i have to explain everything to you.....:palm:

Interesting spin of your lie about what I said. But a failure, unfortunately....

A great many employers look to the market as a factor in their confidence to hire. Do you really dispute that?

i dispute your previous claim and i don't know the percentage your "great" refers to....

of course there are some employers that look at the market, however, i believe most employers look to their bottom line in making those decisions....for example walmart....they didn't look at the market when deciding to keep expanding over the past 3 years...

i'm sorry you don't get it, but i'm not going to bother and try explaining it again, you can't fix stupid, so i see no point in wasting time trying to fix your understanding

I never said I don't "agree" with technical breaks.

You said I did.

More Yurt lies. Just par for the ol' course.....

It's always funny when people speak like the market exists in a vacuum.

If the market hadn't crashed like it did originally, we wouldn't have lost the jobs we did in the 6-month period after the crash. We would have lost jobs, but it wouldn't have even approached what actually happened.

Like it or not, the market sets the tone for the economy. It reacts to news from the business sector as well, but the gains from September were well beyond what the news warranted. If they continue, more hiring will follow.

why is that funny? its wrong, but not funny....

that is possible, however, i believe your correlation is backwards, it was the economy that caused the market to crash...it was people's "faith" in the economy that drove stock prices down

no it does not and you essentially admit this by stating the market reacts...if i set the tone for something, i'm not reacting to it

simple logic really

what bubble is being created? and what are these deep flaws?

The whole stock market is one big bubble. WHen you pump out enough money it has to go somewhere. The deep flaws are our trade deficit and employment problems due to outsourcing and offshoring.
