What they should see O'Donnell says is: (1) FEAR !, fear of what can happen where no one is above the law; (2)STUPIDITY !, the stupidily that made Donald Trump a criminal defendant, and (3)HATRED !, Trump's hatred of the integrity of the institutions and the people who forced him to endure the humiliation of that mug-shot.
Well, Lawrence O'Donnell, is unfortunately, a major dummy, you know ! He's just another ridiculous, spineless "yes man" who says what he's ordered to say by his MSNBC minders ! (No Sir !! The Constitution is inspired by, or, if you like, "grew out of", Thomas Jefferson's ""Declaration of Independence" (1776) Finally, the heart of the "Declaration of Independence" is taken directly from John Locke's "Second Treatise of Government" (1689) John Locke was an English Enlightenement philosopher, but before that, and first and foremost, he was a devout Christian - an English Protestant, and everything Locke wrote came from the foundation of his Christian faith.
My point is that morally speaking, right from the very start, with the Declaration of Independence" in 1776 America was a Christian (Protestant) country. When the Constitution was written its contents were the legal outgrowths of Christian morality.
I think the US Constitution is a brilliant piece of work, probably the greatest blueprint ever set down for a new republic in the history of Western civilisation. To Trump the American Constitution is something very important, and when he took his vow to preserve defend and protect it, he was good to his word. No matter what his enemies in the Democrat Party, the Obama Deep State, the corrupt , partisan Mainstream Media threw at him, he stood his ground and said "fuck you." He had no fear because he knew what he was fighting for was something much bigger and more important than he was. He also knew that standing firm and fighting was the RIGHT thing to do, and that is why Trump never once evinced any fear. I have never, ever seen Donald Trump look afraid - never. The reason is that he took his vow to defend the Constitution very seriously. He promised that he would do that, and when you give your word to always defend an oath, that is what you MUST do. If you do not, you become a dishonourable man.
If you do not know the poem, "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson (the great Victorian poet Laureate), it tells the story of one of the greatest military catastrophes in British history. During the Crimean War, in 1853 a group of 670 odd mounted British soldiers, known as the Light Brigade" we ordered (as a result of a blunder made by the British High Command to charge forward and attack a force of 25,000 heavily armed Russian and Cossack troops. When the men of the Light Brigade were given the order to charge, although they knew they were galloping toward almost guaranteed death, not a man hesitated. The Light Brigade charged, as Tennyson's poem puts it:"Half a league (a league was about 3 miles), Half a League, Onwards" into the "Valley of Death" into the "Jaws of Hell." The poem tells of the doomed 670 men galloping forth with their sabres held high and glinting in the sun. Although they not a hope, the men of the Light Brigade all fought bravely to the death as the Russian canons and rifle shot decimated the men and their horse beside them. Tennyson point in this poem is that the men of the Light Brigade went boldly and without fear to their deaths because they were honouring the vow they had made as British cavalrymen to defend their "Queen and country" come what may. That means "Death before Dishonour"- (which I'm sure is the current motto of a certain division of American Special Forces? "When can their glory fade?/O the Wild Charge they made/ Honour the Light Brigade/ The Brave 600" Tennyson is suggesting here that the bravery and honour of slaughtered men of the Light Brigade will be immortal. And that is true to the extent that Tennyson's poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" is still a famous work in the great Canon of Western poetry and for as long as the Western Canon survives, so too, will the glory of the Light Brigade.
Whenever I try to look into Donald Trump's head, what I see is a man who believes in the US Constititution. I see a man who believes that counter-Constitutional forces must be destroyed because , in short, they are morally evil. If this IS what Trump believes, then I would agree with him 100%. This is because, as I explained above, the US Constitution is deeply rooted in Christian (Protestant) morality, and to me, (and a great many other people) Christian morality played a pivotal role in creating the White,North-Western-European descended culture, that in turn - over the last (roughly) 1000 years, built the greatest, most beautiful, most righteous, most scientifically/technologically - advanced, MOST LIFE-AFFIRMING civilisation in all of human history America became the "Jewel in the Crown" of this great Western Civilisation.
Tragically, there are degenerates - evil men- like Barak Obama, and those radical, revolutionary progressive/Marxists who control the Zombie puppet Joe Biden in the current Democrat administration, who absolutely wish to see America destroyed. They are extremely cunning and duplicitous and since the 1960s they have spread through the American body politic like malignant cancer cells. These individuals would love to see the US Constitution shredded, precisely because they are depraved and evil human beings. When you are a man like Donald Trump, a former US President who has spent year dealing with this scum, you know that you cannot back down to any of their demands, you know that you must and you will defend the Constitution with every ounce of energy that you have, and if anyone doesn't like it that f**King too bad. Because you made a vow to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United State". Just like the immortal 600 of the Light Brigade took a vow to defend their Queen and country" and in doing so take "Death before Dishonour."
So, that's what I see in Donald Trump's mug-shot: a RIGHTEOUS ANGER and a STEELY WILL TO POWER, - a WILL TO OVER-THROW THE EVIL THAT IS STEADILY POISONING HIS GREAT COUNTRY.

I read very recently that Donald Trump's campaign team are in the process of making hundreds of thousands of T-Shirts with Trump's Fulton Country Jail mug-shot printed on the from and the words "NO SURRENDER" printed in bold at the base of the mug-shot. They plan to sell them to help raise funds for Trumps campaign. I think that was a really good, Idea as the mug-shot of Donald Trump is a very powerful image and I believe that all reasonable Americans will see in it what I do, namey: a RIGHTEOUS ANGER and a FIERCE DETERMINATION to prevail against leftist, anti-constitutional/ anti-American scum and get America back on the rails again. The mug-shot says to me, this is one guy who will NEVER SURRENDER to political evil, which in turn brings to mind an old BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN SONG FROM 1984 CALLED: "NO SURRENDER"
