It's just so obvious he's headed for a breakdown. He's temperamentally unsuited to the job and should have stayed in real estate. He's too old and not smart enough to learn all that goes into running the country. He doesn't have the mental discipline.

I voted for the man but am starting to think he is unfit. He is too distracting. I'm wondering if he should just step down. Let Pence take over, and move on.

I was never a big Don supporter, and in fact voted for Cruz in the Primary. I was hoping the Donald would take it serious, and do good work. The man was thought of as a go getter.

Instead he's been acting like a clown, and getting himself in one giant catastrophe after another. You can't even pin one thing on him, because the next week he creates even bigger news.

Well said. I ended up voting for Gary Johnson. Since Trump was elected I was really hoping he would surprise me (in a good way) but what is the benefit to us, the country, the Republican Party in any of this going on? It's like WTF?!

It bums me out. Even I didn't think it would be quite like this.

America is too great a country for this. I still don't get that desperate attitude that people had last year - like the system was completely broken and only a guy like Trump could fix it. We're back to full employment, the market has been doing great for years & companies have been hiring for years. NOW we're looking like a system that's broken, and a government in chaos.

Incredibly reckless to elect someone like this.

Rats leaving the burning ship^^^^^^^^^
LMFAO

I thought it was a good & thoughtful post, Irish.

People will never believe me, but I was hoping for the best - or at least better than this. I don't like to see the country like this.

And this is why you can't speak honestly to dimocrats. Morons like this will jump on it and keep cheerleading for their "team."

Honesty and integrity are in short supply on message boards, and I acknowledge your introspective post.

Donald J. Drumpf was never fit to be president, and I believe most sentient higher life forms recognized that.

The levels of dishonesty and mental gymnastics Drumpf supporters have to go through to defend their hero is not only remarkable, it reflects poorly on them as posters.

My commendations to you. In the immortal words of Angus Young, for those about to rock, we salute you!

Our system of government is completely broken. You have been lulled into accepting statism.

What you are witnessing is not a result of Trump and his crassness. It is a result of an entrenched political class that has taken advantage of this country for years fearing for its existential life.

The notion that ANYONE can be President is an illusion. The political parties have created an illusion that you actually have some choice and have been successful at convincing a large swath of Americans that there are actual differences in the parties. There is not. There are the elites and everyone else.

Washington DC exist today for the rich and powerful to enrich themselves at the government trough.

Trump isn't the threat to this country

Tell me what has he done really that is soooooooo fucking harmful to this country?

What? Enforce our national sovereignty like many countries do by limiting illegal immigration? Yes the horror

Wanting to dismantle the collapsing Obamacare? Country survived without it

Oh wait he told the Russians that ISIS was trying to use laptops to blow up planes? Yeah that's it. And Russia turned right around and told ISIS "comrade, the Americans are on to you"

Oh wait, he told Comey to let it go after it was learned that the FBI found ZERO wrongdoing in Flynn's conversations with "THE RUSSIANS"

The left wanted impeachment 1 week into Trump's election. It's not about him. It's about the far left bozos' not accepting defeat no matter who beat'em.

I truly think there is something seriously wrong with your political system, it is rotten to the core.

The system's not broken, the players are. After the last 8 years, some politicians don't understand it's about taking turns. Plus, there's a generation that came of voting age during this time period who think this is somehow normal to be violent and hysterical when one does not get their way.

It's been that way since the beginning of the election run. Unfortunately, trump doesn't realize that the election is over. He's the Al Bundy of Washington.
