First of all...we're not at war. If Trump wants a draft let him do it the old fashioned way. He can convince congress to Declare war and a draft.

You want to try and enlarge a peacetime service to meet perceived needs? Fine, offer to pay people more. We're not at war. Want to see Trump become a one term President? Implement a peace time draft. Hell the Shrub didn't even have the balls to declare a war time draft after 911.

In other words...probably not going to happen.

You're nuts too. The only justification for a draft is the same justification for declaring war. That there is a clear and present danger to the national security of our nation. Any other reason is both immoral and unethical.

I'm well past the enlistment age now so, sorry.

One of my biggest mistakes in life was going to college directly from high school since I lacked the discipline for engineering school. As a result it took me a lot longer to get a degree. I should have joined up like a few friends of mine did. One took advantage of the education opportunities, became an officer and eventually made the rank of colonel. He retired a year or two back and I've still got 9 years.

Reality? PFC B. Trump is NOT going to be an 11 Bravo trigger puller despite your little wet dream. He would probably be Lieutenant B. Trump, in the rear with the gear. But it all depends on his aptitude and desire. The military doesn't like putting unqualified leaders in charge of people's lives.
