Donald Trump suffers huge blow as Fox News viewers warn 'we don't want you'
President Donald Trump was asked about deploying the National Guard across America during an appearance on Fox News as he revealed, 'We're gonna go to San Francisco'
Donald Trump was mocked by Fox News viewers as he announced San Francisco will be the next city to see the deployment of the National Guard, after troops were sent to Chicago
During his appearance on Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures, the president asserted his "unquestioned power" to deploy the National Guard. Trump claimed 50% of presidents "have used" the Insurrection Act law, which allows them to deploy the U.S. military nationally and federalize the National Guard units.
When asked, "I hear you're gonna go to San Francisco next," the president responded, "We're gonna go to San Francisco. The difference is I think they want us in San Francisco. San Francisco was truly one of the great cities of the world, and then 15 years ago it went wrong, it went woke."

Trump continued "Remember my statement? Anything woke is..." before the Fox News host interjected, "Broke." The president conceded, "Well, broke is another one, I used a filthy word. I took enough heat on that, I won't say it again, but it's true, nothing changes."

Trump then shared, "We're going to go to San Francisco and we're going to make it great. We're going to make it great, it'll be great again. San Francisco's a great city. It won't be great if it keeps going like this."
However, not everyone agreed with the president's remarks. California Governor Gavin Newsom reposted the clip on X and commented, "Fact check: Nobody wants you here. You will ruin one of America's greatest cities."

One critic of Trump remarked, "San Francisco and the American people do not want the military on their streets. They made that clear during the No Kings protests."
"Crime rate in San Francisco is at a thirty-year low. He just wants to go there because he's hoping the activists in the city will fight back. Hopefully they follow Portland's lead and just mock it," another person posted.
A Fox viewer questioned, "So you thought it was great 15 years ago? Wasn't Newsom the mayor then? Unintentional compliment, I am sure. FYI: We don't want your ilk in our beautiful city."
These comments come as the Trump administration petitioned the Supreme Court to allow the deployment of National Guard troops in the Chicago area. The emergency appeal to the high court came after a judge blocked the deployment of National Guard members from Illinois and Texas to assist immigration enforcement.
