So serious are these allegations that not to have charged Mr Trump would have been to single him out for special treatment. Had Mr Trump acknowledged his mistake and returned all the files, it is hard to see how there would have been any prosecution. Robert Birchum, 55, was sentenced in Tampa federal court, according to court records. He pleaded guilty in February to unlawfully possessing and retaining classified documents relating to the national defense of the United States. Birchum was also fined $25,000.

If he's guilty, then they're guilty. Trump isn't the only one that should be on trial for this sort of charge.

Trump isn't guilty, since he has authorization to retain any document he wishes. He doesn't even need to 'declassify' it.

If these twits consider Trump 'guilty', then ALL the people listed are guilty.
These twits also conveniently ignore that Biden has classified material in his home that he has NO authorization to even view when he obtained them.

She should be indicted for illegally using a personal server, circumventing a whole raft of federal laws on records keeping, having classified information that wasn't properly secured, etc. She did all of that and more, and did it knowingly with the intent to sidestep federal law.

Now the subject switches to Hillary and the federal laws she broke. Hillary also destroyed evidence, another violation of law.

They are absolutely not the same crimes. Read the 38 charges for Trump. Pence and Biden totally cooperated with the FBI. Trump lied to them and obstructed them from getting the documents back. Why do you type stupid crap like that? You cannot be dumb enough to believe it.

He completely ignores the fact that Biden possessed classified material that was IN HIS HOME that he was NEVER AUTHORIZED to even view. He had them for YEARS. He never told the FBI (which has no authorization to view those documents either!). HE HID THEM! His son, Cocaine Hunter, was traveling to Ukraine and China at the time and had ACCESS TO THESE DOCUMENTS.

Bribery money from China has also been paid to Biden. That little inconvenient fact is being completely covered up by the 'news media'.

No wonder people don't trust it anymore.

That is the singular difference that is the crux of the crime. And the crime matters. It is not what is similar, it is what is different and that is the crime.

Trump has committed no crime. He has all the authority he needs to retain any document he wishes. He doesn't even need to 'declassify' them. This authority is given by the Constitution of the United States, and is further coded by the Presidential Records Act. Neither Congress, the FBI, nor NARA has any authority to limit the authority of any President, including former President Trump.
