Classical liberalism is a political and economic philosophy that prioritizes individual liberty, limited government, and
a free-market economy.
Forgive me, but you are describing classical Libertarianism, per its original charter at its founding, which is not to be confused with contemporary Libertarianism, i.e. the Marxist anarchy into which it has evolved, as represented by its current charter that has fundamentally changed many times. You are describing government and market characteristics, which imply Libertarianism.
Classical liberalism, on the other hand, discusses social views, like women being able to take out mortgages without requiring a husband to sign for it, or for blacks to not be denied a lease based on race, or for an end to Blue Laws, etc. Liberalism is centered around social views, not government.
This is the exact opposite of today's leftists' version of liberalism.
This is why we need to be careful with our wording, because you're right, today's leftists have Marxicized (Marxinated) the government, the Libertarian party, the DNC and has had a hand in filling the Republican Party with RINOs. You (and I both) want our country to move back towards the classical Libertarian charter, and away from the fascist tyranny of the Marxist DNC (aka "progressives", "social democrats", "democratic socialists", "socialists", etc.)
I abide by my classical liberalism political mindset, while hating today's leftist liberalism as shown by my moniker name.
You are standing true. Kudos.
