You don't get to pick your favorite months. Presidents are judged on the totality of their record.

A president's job is to handle emergencies. The fact that Trump couldn't handle the COVID emergency is a reflection on his leadership
 
The Revolution pressuring refiners to make gas this summer for poltical reasons is really starting to hit now, as nearly everything else that comes from the refineries are in short supply. The simple fact is that we dont have enough refining capacity (nor does Europe), there is no solution to this other than building new capacity, which the Revolution will not allow.

Well the coming Depression will help, the people will simply go without.
 
Here is the reality. Oil companies have THOUSANDS of leases that are not being worked. Why? It isn't because of Biden. It's because working an oil lease costs money and requires labor and infrastructure that they aren't interested in subsidizing. They are making money hand over fist without lifting a finger. They don't care about the welfare of the country, they care about the welfare of their shareholders. If oil companies committed to increasing domestic production, it would happen. They simple have no desire and no incentive to do so.

We can all see how the oil and gas companies are being threatened publically, and can be sure that in private they are being threatened even more robustly.

It takes years to develop production, and for about a decade now these companies have been told that they will get out of the oil and gas business "OR ELSE!".

You cant just switch a switch and get more oil or gas, and the Revolution has no intention of changing its mind.

Or else what? Or else they may go the way of Blockbuster Video? DUH. No one is making this decision for the oil companies. They are making it themselves. There is no stronger lobby in Washington than the oil and gas lobby. To suggest they are being bullied is absolutely laughable and stupid.
