Crude oil production on track to break 2019 mark, says EIA forecast

AUGUST 10, 2022

Next year could be a record year for U.S. crude oil production, according to the Energy Information Administration’s short-term energy outlook.

The outlook, released on Aug. 9, predicts that U.S. crude oil production will average 11.9 million barrels per day in 2022. By 2023, that number jumps to 12.7 million barrels per day, a 70,000 barrel per day decrease from EIA’s July outlook. However, that forecast would still break the previous mark of 12.3 million barrels per day, which was set in 2019.

https://landline.media/crude-oil-pr...expects that number to,$95 per barrel in 2023.

If you are still taking seriously the forcests that our Failed Elite Class give us then you are an idiot.

Strange that they would go against their fellow OPEC+ members after refusing to pump all year.

The scientists, engineers, and economists of the US Energy Information Administration are middle class civil service technocrats, with a long history of making reasonably credible short term projections of energy markets.

I'll tell you who is making shitty projections: your MAGA boyfriends who claimed Joe Biden is destroying domestic oil production.

The interesting thing will be how much of what we do produce the Revolution ships out of the country regardless of if we need it. Ditto with food. They dont give a fuck about us, they are very clear on this point.

Take a look at oil production and refining output from before the pandemic cause by China and Fauci et al. The only thing that is up is natural gas production, because we have decided to send as much as we can to Europe....Americas dont benefit.

<mandatory sarcasm alert>

Wut now? I thought "Brandon" shut down leases and ANWR and the Keystone and made sure that we all paid a lot more to fill up. It's not true??

A lot of MAGA fat asses practically guaranteed me that Joe Biden was destroying domestic oil production.

Surprisingly, domestic oil production is actually headed for a record.

Well, these are domestic American oil producers, they aren't in OPEC and are not bound by the cartel's production quotas.
I've been referring to American producers as 'no better than OPEC' because they refuse to go against Wall St. and produce when prices were spiking.

Because they are just as bad as OPEC.

We need a national oil company.

Which this country cannot use with refinery capacity. You and the folks who thanked you are dumber than fuck.

Before the Gulf wells shut down (back in a few days?) we were at 12.2 mbd......peak Nov 2019 was 13. And remember that we are increasingly sending crude out of the country, even to the Chinese, who hate our guts.

Perhaps they're doing it to supply Europe this winter?

It would make it easier to get everyone on board with sanctioning Putin's energy

Just wait till the famine really gets going and the Regime sends food we need out of the country, and no MotherFucker....you have no say in the matter.....SHUT UP!

Norway is the model. A hybrid system with a national oil company.
