It does seem to get to be a more concerning situation every day... right now the gaffes are fairly harmless...and the world justs laughs at grandpa Joe....but how quickly things could go very wrong... and pose a real danger for this country... bad enough there's no one in charge...

How did these documents end up there and why were they there so long? I love it that his lawyers told him not to ask what they were..

When something self-serving and stupid is needed, Trump will provide it. Trump stole a truckload of classified documents. He is still fighting for the right to keep what he stole.
Nobody knew these docs were in a locked closet in an office Biden had when he was working for the university think tank. Once found, by Biden's lawyers, they were immediately returned to the archives.
What will happen, Biden will have to justify having them and if he fails he will be punished according to the law.
Trump will fight in court forever, again using the courts to delay justice.

Biden aides find second batch of classified documents at new location

Aides to President Joe Biden have discovered at least one additional batch of classified documents in a location separate from the Washington office he used after leaving the Obama administration, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Since November, after the discovery of documents with classified markings in his former office, Biden aides have been searching for any additional classified materials that might be in other locations he used, said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to provide details about the ongoing inquiry.

The White House did not return a request for comment.

You keep pounding the same thing over and over, it happened, and is being looked into by a Trump appointee, but in the meantime, no way is it even remotely comparable to Trump’s situation no matter how hard the right tries to frame it

Ahh, but one has to PROVE that Biden purposely ordered the move of those documents, much less purposely hid them. Remember, Dump's DOJ had 4 years to go over records to make sure everything was in it's place. Quite frankly, I doubt Uncle Joe had personal review of everything that was transferred to his think tank. The investigation will tell the tale eventually.

They either abjectly failed or didn't think it was worth the trouble. Given Dump's vehemence against all things Obama, I'd go with the latter.

Wrong! Biden's 'people' told authorities they found the documents back in November. They then decided, according to them, to see if there were more rather than report the find immediately. Not only does that smack of putting politics ahead of national security (eg., they didn't want this find to impact the mid-term election) but it is also illegal. They should have reported the find immediately.
