This tactic is as old as history. Governments use their agents to talk dissidents into doing something that at least looks illegal. Then they arrest them.

The courts refused to look at the evidence because they knew if they did, they would have to void the election. So the courts did what they always do in such cases and said the plaintiffs had NO STANDING!!! Trump was robbed of his job but he had no standing.!!
 
They really had no choice, since at least one protester has already been found not guilty on the basis of that, with likely many more to follow...
 
Why wasnt this an insurrection btw ? Should all of these INVADERS have been shot too?

The courts looked at the "evidence" offered...laughed at it...and threw the 60+ cases out.

Right after the Trump insurrection, videos of a couple of cops and politicians who opened the doors were shown on TV. This is not new news. They are part of the plot and will pay bigly.
